Verse loses equipment, van troubles - Thursday, August 12, 2004 at 03:07 GMT

Verse recently had much of their equipment stolen while their tour van was to be repaired.  According to the Rival Records website, the transmission of the band's van failed on Monday, leaving them stranded in South Carolina.  The van was then left in storage at a 24-hour service station, where it was to be repaired and operable by Tuesday or Wednesday.  When the band members returned to the station on Tuesday, however, their trailer had been broken into and much of their equipment stolen.  Verse apparently lost $10,000 to $12,000 worth of equipment, which includes a new drumset, two guitars, a bass head and cab, and a guitar head and cab.

Verse is working on fixing their van and is still going to attempt to finish the tour by borrowing equipment.  Also, any donations can be sent through Paypal to kyleXwhitlow@hotmail.com.

Ugh, this is bad, bad news.  Exactly what hardcore bands really don't need to deal with.
