Each one of us obviously pumped some time, effort and deep thought into our year-end lists. Even though we will probably all realize in the future that we've made one or two regrettable choices, we've all poured over these lists; in my case, I've been considering my "Top 20" and the daunting task of making it for months. Luckily, this year was good. Almost all of us had to kick our lists up to 20 albums just to give recognition to every record we felt worthy of a year-end mention. For metal, for hardcore, for melodic punk rock, there was a lot to like.

So, quit reading this almost-filler rambling. We've got three lists of 20 albums, one list of 10 and Patrick's year-end list, which features his favorite records, movies and television series of 2006. Click on the images above to check out that person's year-end list.
